Calling Universities to Take Action

We invite universities across Bangladesh to observe World Cleanup Day 2026 on 20 September by organizing a Campus Cleanup and Sustainable Waste-Management Awareness Programme.

Universities are uniquely positioned to turn environmental knowledge into action by engaging:

Students • Faculty • Staff • Clubs • Researchers • Campus Services • Local Communities

A university cleanup should be more than collecting litter. It can become a practical learning experience that demonstrates how waste can be prevented, separated, recovered, recycled and responsibly managed.

Suggested University Activities

🧹 Campus Cleanup

Organize students, faculty, staff and volunteers to clean selected areas of the university campus and surrounding community.

♻️ Waste Segregation
